Directory Ratings, Votes, Hits,
Comments, and Statistics
There are many factors that you can use to examine the quality of
directories listed on our site.
1) Ratings: Each listing in our directory can be rated by visitors
from a Rating of 1-10 (10 being the best). These are
unbiased ratings that come from visitors who have had experiences
with the particular listing, and have decided to rate the listing.
The displayed "Rating" is the average of all ratings for that
particular listing.
2) Votes: Total number of times that
listing has been Rated.
3) Hits: This is the popularity
of the listing. The higher the "Hits" the more popular the
listings.
4) Comments: Visitors can post
Comments about a particular listing. If you would like too
see what others have to say about a particular listing the
Comments Section can be beneficial. Opinions can be about
the price, customer service, quality of listing, speed of getting
listed, response times, amount of traffic recieved, etc...
5) Statistics: These are various
statistics about the listing which will usually help in
determining search engine optimization. All statistic
information is updated in real time and is extremely accurate.
Statistics that we include with every listing are:
Google Backlinks (GBL)
Google Pages Indexed (GIP)
MSN Backlinks (MBL)
MSN Pages Indexed (MIP)
Yahoo Backlinks (YBL)
Yahoo Pages Indexed (YIP)
Google PageRank (Green Bar)
Alexa Rank
Alexa "Links In" Measurement
All statistics are used to create an
overall Score for each listing which is used in listings placement in our
directory. The higher each statistic the better the
listings.
How to Use the Search Feature
Our search feature can be used to find specific
types of listings. For example, if you wanted to display
"Paid Directory" listings with a PR5, all you would have to do is
go to the "Paid Directories" Category, type the keyword "PR5" in
the search form in that category, select "This Category", and
click the Search button. The search results would only list
Paid Directories with a PR5. There are many other types of
combinations that can be used, and the best way to become familiar
is too keep trying different combinations. If you have any

How to Modify Your Listing
If you want to modify your listing you will need to search
for your listing using the "Search" form. The best way to
search for your listing is to just search for the name. When
the Search Results come up with your listing there will be a
"Modify Link" link under your listing. When you click on it
you will be taken to a form where you will have to enter your
password. The "Modified Link" link doesn't show up if you
navigate through the directory to your listing, this is why you
will need to use the "Search" form to display your listing.
